Question 1

How long does a website take?

Accepted Answer

Most projects go live in 10 to 14 days from the day we have your content. The build itself is rarely the holdup. Sites are late because photos and copy arrive late, so the faster you get us your materials, the faster you launch.

Question 2

What do you need from me to get started?

Accepted Answer

Your logo file if you have one, 10 to 15 photos of your space, team or work, your services or menu with prices, your hours, phone, address and social links, and a few websites whose look you like. If you don't have photos or a logo yet, tell us and we'll work around it and swap things in later.

Question 3

How does payment work?

Accepted Answer

50% deposit to start, 50% before the site goes live. You'll get a clear quote before any work begins, and nothing is invoiced that wasn't quoted.

Question 4

What does a website cost?

Accepted Answer

A basic website is a one-time setup fee of $100 to $300, plus $120 per month for maintenance. Larger sites (more pages, booking systems, listings, e-commerce, custom functionality) are scoped and quoted together with you before any work starts. Tell us what you're looking for and you'll have a real number quickly, with no discovery-call gauntlet.

Question 5

Why is the setup fee so low?

Accepted Answer

Because we'd rather build a long relationship than charge you four figures once and disappear. The monthly maintenance is where the ongoing work lives, so the cost of getting online isn't the thing standing between you and a real website.

Question 6

What does the $120/month maintenance cover?

Accepted Answer

Content and copy changes, new pages and sections, seasonal updates, photo swaps, plugin and platform updates, uptime monitoring, backups, and fixes when something breaks. If you want a change made, you email us and it gets made. You don't need to learn a page builder.

Question 7

Is maintenance required?

Accepted Answer

No. You can take the site and run it yourself, and we'll show you how during handover. Most clients keep maintenance because they'd rather send an email than edit a website.

Question 8

Who owns the website and the domain?

Accepted Answer

You do. The domain is registered in your name, the site is yours, and if you ever leave, you leave with it. If you already have a domain, we'll need access to whoever manages it. Figuring that out early matters, because recovering a lost domain at launch time can take weeks.

Question 9

How many rounds of revisions do I get?

Accepted Answer

We walk you through the site together and you send back all your feedback in one consolidated message. That round is included. Anything that changes the agreed scope gets quoted as an add-on before we build it, so there are no surprise invoices.

Question 10

Do I need to know anything technical?

Accepted Answer

No. We handle the domain, hosting, email, SSL and analytics setup. At handover we spend ten real minutes showing you how to make basic changes yourself.

Question 11

I already have a website. Can you redesign it?

Accepted Answer

Yes, redesigns are a large part of what we do. We can keep your existing domain and content and rebuild everything around it.

Question 12

Do you only work with businesses in New York?

Accepted Answer

We're based in Nassau County and most of our clients are on Long Island or in the five boroughs, but the entire process works remotely and we take on clients anywhere.

Question 13

Do you do SEO?

Accepted Answer

Search optimization is built into every site from the first page we design: titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, alt text, clean URLs, sitemaps, structured data and fast load times. It's included, not sold back to you as an upgrade later.

Question 14

Can customers book appointments through my site?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We build booking and reservation flows directly into the site, styled like the rest of it, with confirmation and reminder emails. See the barbershop and restaurant demos for working examples.
